Coney Mountain - Tupper Lake

Saturday (3/9) was probably the nicest day of the year so far, and we took advantage of it and snowshoed up Coney Mt. This is one of the Tupper Lake Triad and offers some of the best views around, for a short 2.3 mile hike (round trip). There is still a lot of snow in the woods, but the trail is well packed -snowshoes or micro-spikes are definitely recommended. If you are going for the winter patch, there is only a few days left. (ends March 19).
